马上要到年底了，又到了坏人出没的时候，大家除了要防火防盗防经纪人不跟陌生人说话之外，还要睁大眼睛识别出那些豪不起眼甚至带着面具的形形色色的坏人。 说到这里，你脑海里第一个冒出来的让你恨得牙咬得咯咯响的坏人是谁？已经被抓进局里的不算，是那个上学时处处占你小便宜，明里暗里欺负你恶搞你的同学？是那个外出时抽烟不分场合或随意插队的小混混？还是那个善用权术背后明枪暗箭算计你的贱人？…… 你是不是无数次暗地里诅咒过他们，希望有一天，他们遭到雷劈或者干脆“碎尸万段”，从此从这个地球上永远消失？而更让你气不打一处的是，这些十恶不赦的坏人居然还好好地跟你生活在同一个星球上，而且还到处张牙舞爪地炫耀他们的战利品。 我知道你一定更有发言权控诉这些坏人种种恶性劣迹，但是我们还是先一起盘点一下这些坏人的类型，再对号入座。 除了我添加的一些例子外，以下的分类是万维刚老师帮我们整理出来的。 坏人是天生就这样，还是本身是好人随后慢慢变成的坏人？若天生就是坏人，那这种携带性格缺陷的基因为什么没有在进化的过程中被淘汰掉呢？如果是后天不得已变化的，那为什么在遇到考验的时候，有的人表现出人心的光辉，有的人变成了坏人呢？一个合理的推测就是有些人天生有一些性格缺陷，遇到一些极端的情况就把人变成了坏人。极端情况是偶然的，但是性格缺陷却是普遍的，每个人或多或少都有一些小小的缺陷，从性格缺陷的角度来看，上世纪九十年代末有人提出一个“黑暗三性格”的理论，认为有这三种性格的人，更有可能对人充满恶意，而变成坏人。这个“黑暗三性格”包括： 自恋者处处爱表现自己，只要一开口就说到自己的方方面面，从早晨起床吃什么到她妈袜子的颜色能跟你谈个不停。家里要是有小孩的话，那更是从头到脚都要跟你描述一遍她家小孩的每一个毛孔，更不用提她家祖上八代如何光宗耀祖，后世如何洪福齐天了。 自恋的确视为一种黑暗性格，但也并不算什么坏人，过分自恋的人的确就是让人反感。 虽然“变态”经常被用来骂人，但是心理学家指的精神变态是指： 自私，冷血，爱冒险。 CBS出品的犯罪剧情电视剧《犯罪心理》，讲述了美国联邦调查局（FBI）下属的行为分析部（BAU）中的一支心理侧写队伍，他们运用各种心理学领域知识和高科技装备，破获各种变态连环杀人狂的黑色剧情。该剧一直播到第13季热力不减，节目片头的画面是真实的连环杀人凶手的照片，这些罪犯丧失人性，拿别人的命根本不当命。正常人杀人都有巨大的心理负担，但对于他们来说，杀人反而成为一种乐趣，仪式，信仰……总之就是跟常人吃饭睡觉一样必不可少的日常活动。再加上爱冒险， 这些人简直就是天生的犯罪分子 。 马基雅维利主张不择手段的权力斗争，就像人们经常引用的一句名言“没有永远的朋友，也没有永远的敌人，只有永远的利益”，还有我们中国人熟悉的“厚黑学”，都是强调利益至上。我对谁都可以背叛，我跟谁都能结盟，只要符合我的利益就行。美剧《纸牌屋》更是淋漓尽致的展现出弗朗西斯夫妇为登上总统宝座不择手段草菅人命的各种权利斗争。而生活当中的玛基雅维利的信奉者往往都是精于算计，喜欢搞些阴谋诡计设计别人。 但是他们跟精神变态者有本质的区别，他们是理性的，做事有原则，并不以残害别人为乐。 除了黑暗三性格以外，还有两种性格日常生活中非常常见，但心理学家的研究还不够充分，以至于哲学家给这两种性格下的定义。 加州大学河畔分校的哲学教授埃里克.詹姆斯教授说， Asshole，就是那种有强烈特权感的人 ，认为所有的便宜都该他先占，所有的好事都先轮到他，他应该比别人拿到更好的东西，这样的人就是Asshole。Asshole虽然令人讨厌，但毕竟只是在涉及到利益争夺的时候，才会体现出来。而另外一种人，则几乎是处处跟人作对。 Jerk和Asshole在中文都常被翻译为“ 混蛋”，但还是有区别的，那些坐飞机对空姐提出各种无理要求，排队时到处插队，在公司对职位比自己低的人颐指气使, 完全没有社会公德, 这种人就是jerk。 而加州大学河畔分校的哲学教授埃里克.施维茨格贝尔（Eric Wchwitzgebel）在《鹦鹉螺》杂志发表的一篇文章指出了jerk的定义, jerk就是在他的眼里，别人的“人性”都降低了。Jerk把别人都当成工具,完全不从别人的视角考虑问题。他眼中别人几乎都是没有感情，没有道德意识的存在。而一个人之所以是jerk,本质上是因为无知。 施维茨格贝尔还给这个jerk找了一个反义词：sweetheart, 也就是甜心, 所谓甜心就是善解人意,尊重别人的意见，处处为别人考虑的人。 其实，以上这五种性格缺陷，我们每个人都会有一点，只是程度不同。但施维茨格贝尔认为，在诸多和道德有关的性格中，jerk-sweetheart 这个维度是最重要的。说白了就是你在多大程度上能够考虑到别人的存在和感受。 下面说说我的看法，除了上面第二种---精神变态者，把他们交给FBI和专业心理学家去研究外，剩下几种在生活中随处可见。作为一个成年人，一个抛弃了非黑即白的复杂现代人，单纯从个人利益角度来看，我们应不应该做一个“坏人”，或者多大程度的“坏”呢？ 首先这个问题取决于你问谁，如果你去问小学老师，或者是在发表毕业感言，抑或是面对央视记者的镜头，那答案一定是毫无疑问当个好人，尊重他人关爱社会奉献国家的大好人。但是如果你在外面受挫，回家去问你那久经商场的老爸，他一定会给你一个不一样的答案。 而在现实生活中，那些职场上的老好人通常是“受气包”；而那些爱出风头，表演欲望很强的人时时刻刻都在讨好老板的欢心；那些性格懦弱的部门经理，通常不能够为部门争取更多资源；而那些飞扬跋扈争强好胜的“泼妇”常常能够为部门获得更多利益；那些靠投机取巧踩着无数人的尸体爬上宝座的老板，如今到处炫耀他们的博爱和伟大…… 曾经见过一个项目经理，把自己当皇帝一样高高供起，每天对下面的人各种颐指气使。曾经有次开会时候，他对所有与会人员豪情大放地说：“你们想喝什么饮料，无论什么口味我都能给你们弄到。”其他人都在纳闷，他哪有那么多时间去买咖啡，又或他身边谁这么闲呢？可私底下谁知道，他部门那个年轻的HR美眉不止一次哭诉：她上班是做人事工作不是专门来买咖啡或叫外卖的。如果你认为年轻人就应该从跑腿买咖啡开始干起，那我只能请你耐心看下去。 有这么一个皇帝高高在上，底下的业务人员三天两头换，终于到了青黄不接的时候，下面没人给干活了。他便使出浑身解数，花言巧语从别的部门挖了个人过来。刚开始当然是万般讨好各种重视，甚至还以此为借口向上面大做文章：“别的部门同事都投奔过来了”。不久招到新人后便原形毕露，各种挑剔和言语侮辱，并与HR在合同上大做文章将其辞退。刚到的新人一般都比较卖力，而且要花一段时间才能摸清底细。能力强的发现老板本性后马上跳槽离开了，那些外面没什么机会，又需要一份工作养家糊口的人只能忍气吞声呆在那里。此君还极爱炫耀“才华”，动不动就把自己当大学教授一样在白板上讲课，末了还要每个人明确赞美他讲得多棒。至于那些离开的空缺职位，继续对外招聘，反正外面有的是数不清的不懂内幕的求职者会投递简历。最后连合作的猎头公司都看不下去了：那个暴君怎么还好意思继续招聘，这不是祸国殃民糟蹋人才吗？ 有这么个帝王般的老板和一群流水的兵，此君的项目一个接一个的失败，可是每次在项目还没开始的时候他就已经对上面找好了失败的借口，那些冠冕堂皇的说辞一次比一次漂亮。董事会也不是个个都是傻子，赔了这么多钱，每次换来一堆漂亮的说辞有何用？每当此君发觉上面有意砍掉他时，便对CEO各种表忠心，一堆“一将功成万古枯”的狗屁理论。CEO之前已经为其背书过了，也不好中途变卦，外加原有业务增长乏力也需要寻找新的刺激点提升业绩，无奈只好继续力挺他。董事会远在国外，也没法事事亲躬，几次派人来内审调研都无功折返，又有CEO给背书，只能任由其继续表演。 如果用坏人的五种性格缺陷来分析上面的例子话，此君除了没有彻底丧失人性到肢解尸体如切菜般的变态程度外，剩下的如自恋，权谋，Asshole,Jerk有一个算一个，而就是这么一个Asshole和Jerk 的结合体仍然源源不断获得外部的资源，每天享受着把周围人智商蹂躏到不如自己百分之一的快感，以及下面人每天的例行赞美恭维。 但是如果我们从另外一个角度看的话，那个从别的部门被“骗”过来的人，会不会利用批判性思维自己先去做一番调研，搞清楚内幕和实情了再决定换部门？职场毕竟不是自己家房间，可以随意进出的；那些从外面招进来的人，虽然获取信息不如内部同事那么方便，但是决定自己去留的还得靠实力，有本事就跳走没本事就继续受气；至于上面的CEO和董事会，如果有能力发掘更有前景的项目，还会继续死守这么一个“鸡肋”不放？ 所以终究到底，还是实力在作怪。 我们可以预见的是，一旦此君失败，将很难再次获得资源和合作，至少是那些熟悉他的人不会再合作了。想到这里你一定诅咒他倒大霉，倘若他倒台了，若是再次发挥那巧言令色的本事，还是可以骗到一些毫不知情的人继续踏上贼船的或是进行“一锤子”买卖的。 而作为对生活满怀良好愿望的年轻人们，面对这些高级jerk,倘若不能识破这些陷阱，不小心跳进了这“一锤子”买卖的大坑里，就要有跳出陷阱的实力和勇气，不然你会被那些Jerk们折磨得心力交瘁。倘若这是你的前一两份工作，那更会对你的整个职业生涯带来扭曲的人格和心理阴影。 我们不断修炼自己的实力和强大自己的内心，不但是为了与同龄人竞争，更是为了抵抗那些携带人格缺陷的“坏人”对自己人格和意志的种种践踏，以及，随时能离开的本钱。 随着实力不断增强，处理的事情和碰到的人更加复杂，你碰到“坏人”的几率和变成“坏人”的可能性也会增加，那么，有一天，你也会变成“坏人”中的一员吗？ 大西洋月刊那篇文章的作者由西姆说，只有三种情况下，你可以像个jerk一样做事情： 第一种情况，一锤子买卖 。比如你在一家餐馆吃饭，下次不打算来了。比如旅游景点的纪念品，根本就不指望回头客。比如你打算跟某人绝交，没人能把你怎么样。 第二种情况，刚刚形成的团队，还未形成上下级关系 。这时候你就能表现一下自己，能获得很大的先发优势。 第三种情况，你所在的团队到了生死存亡关头，任何犹豫都会错失良机，那你就宁做坏人也要果断决策 。 除了上面三种情况，大多数时候你还是做个sweetheart吧。 这个世界需要主动的人，需要敢于担当的人，但并不意味着我们都应该成为坏人。当然，你也千万别低估了坏人的本事。 愿我们既能有识别出“坏人”的能力，又能有抵挡住“坏人”侵害的智慧，以及，随时能离开“坏人”的实力和本事。 终有一天，我们都会学会在这个复杂多变的世界中保护好自己和自己所珍爱的人，学会如何和这个世界相处，能够伸展出自己强大而自由的生命力。 Reference: How to tell if you"re a jerk.
